Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have the right to withdraw from a distance purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving any reason, in accordance with applicable EU consumer protection law.

Cancellation Before Production Starts

You may cancel your order free of charge until production has started. For made-to-order and personalised products, production typically begins within 1 hour of order confirmation, including weekends and public holidays. If you need to cancel, contact us at i@decorua.com immediately.

If production has already started at the time of your cancellation request, only the shipping cost may be refunded. The product cost is non-refundable, as materials have been used and the item has been produced to your personal specifications.

Products Excluded from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

• Personalised and made-to-order products — goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This includes all personalised edible cake toppers, cupcake topper sets, wafer paper prints, sugar sheet prints, chocotransfer designs, and any item made with custom text, name, age, date, design, size, material choice, or image.
• Edible and perishable goods — food-grade edible decorations (wafer paper, sugar sheets, chocotransfer prints) that can deteriorate or expire and cannot be resold after production.
• Digital content delivered online — digital downloads, printable files, and Canva templates, where you have given consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the right of withdrawal before download or access.
• Collections marked as Final Sale — the following product collections are non-returnable: Acrylic Cake Toppers, Button Badges, Cake Toppers, Cookie Cutters, Custom Snack Bags, Digital Templates, Edible Cake Toppers, Edible Cupcake Toppers.

In practice, the large majority of Decorua products fall under one or more of the exceptions above. If you are unsure whether your specific order is eligible for withdrawal, please contact us before returning the item.

How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal (Where Applicable)

To exercise your right of withdrawal for an eligible product, send a clear written statement to i@decorua.com with the subject line "Withdrawal", including:

• Your full name
• Your email address used at checkout
• Order number
• Date of order and date of delivery
• A clear statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract

We will confirm receipt by email without undue delay.

Refund After Withdrawal

Where withdrawal is accepted, we will reimburse the product price within 14 days of receiving the returned goods (or from the date you provide proof of return shipment, whichever is earlier). We will use the same payment method you used for the original order unless you expressly agree otherwise. Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense unless otherwise required by applicable law.
